I trained with the IYA from 2018 to 2022 and have been teaching since 2020. I am sharing this post because I am really proud of the Irish Yoga Association and grateful for the in depth training I received.<\/p>\n
It feels uncomfortable to post in a way that seems boastful, but I am trying to highlight the IYA here (not myself) because it is an incredible not for profit organisation, founded in 1978 with the mission to make yoga available to the community through it’s teacher training programme. It is the only yoga training body in Ireland accredited with the European Union of Yoga.<\/p>\n
I learned so much through the 4 year course – about all aspects of yoga, about teaching, about myself. I know the 747 hours have stood me well, and that they were only the beginning. Yoga is vast, ancient and expansive. Perhaps the biggest thing I learned is that there is so much more to learn!”<\/p>\n
